Let’s Face It: Donald Trump is Dangerous

Will Donald Trump’s ego destroy his campaign before it destroys America? We can only hope.

For months, Donald Trump and Senator Ted Cruz had a truce. While Donald Trump mocked and took shots at the rest of the field (a field that was attacking him), he left Ted Cruz alone, just as Senator Cruz left the rest of the field alone. Ted Cruz’s rise in Iowa has the Donald exploding in schizophrenic fits of incomprehensible rage and ridiculousness all over ABC and Twitter.

Trump, still unhinged from the beating he took in the South Carolina debate, spoke with George Stephanopoulos of ABC, saying of Cruz, “Nobody likes him. Nobody in Congress likes him. Nobody likes him anywhere once they get to know him. He’s a very –- he’s got an edge that’s not good. You can’t make deals with people like that and it’s not a good thing”.

You see, Donald Trump is all about compromise. He’s a major financial backer of people like Hillary and Bill Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Mitch McConnell. These are people that Donald Trump likes. They are easy to work with because they have no principles. They are easy to purchase because they place their own ambition and power above that of their constituents.

Donald Trump does hate Senator Ted Cruz for all the reasons conservatives love him. He doesn’t compromise. He’s not for sale. Trump, who buys and sells politicians like goods and services, cannot comprehend a politician that makes decisions based on things like the United States Constitution or the promises he’s made to his constituents.

For Trump, everything is a deal and everyone has a price. The more corrupt the politician, the cheaper they are, and the easier they are for billionaires like Donald Trump to influence. As President, the one thing Donald Trump would fear more than anything are Senator’s like Mike Lee, Rand Paul, and Ted Cruz. We all saw how much The Donald despised Rand Paul for calling him out on his duplicitous political background. Ted Cruz did something far worse than that, however. Ted Cruz started to catch Donald in the polls.

Men like Trump care about one thing and one thing only – power. He wants control over our government and over our lives. His rambling and incomprehensible campaign speeches are 100% rhetoric. Donald Trump understands that if he tells angry people what they want to hear, they’ll follow him. This frightening quality of Donald Trump reminds me of several European and Asian leaders that had quite the bloody and violent impact on the world.

At the end of the day, the Republican Party needs a nominee that won’t compromise, that won’t sell out the American people to special interests like Donald Trump. Donald Trump is all about the deal, all about twisting arms, lobbying, and compromising to get what he wants. The first people that Donald Trump will sell out if he did become President would be the usual idiots that supported him.

Donald Trump isn’t a solution for the problems that plague us. Donald Trump is a whole new set of problems. He is the embodiment of Corporatism. The only reason the Republican Establishment hates Donald Trump is because he’s just like them, but more powerful. Donald Trump has now taken to tauting every establishment slur against Senator Ted Cruz, which tells us the truth about Donald Trump. Donald Trump isn’t hated by the Establishment because he’s conservative. He’s hated by the Establishment because he’s been their boss, he’s been calling the shots, he writes a check and then they have to bow and grovel and give the rich playboy whatever he desires.

They hate Ted Cruz because Senator Cruz has fought the system which makes that possible. Donald Trump hates Ted Cruz because Ted Cruz is all that stands between Trump and what he believes is unlimited power. Do not be fooled. Donald Trump craves power more than principle, be they the principles he holds today, or the totally different set of principles he held in August, or the totally different set of principles he held in 2014, 2013, 2012…. etc. Donald Trump is dangerous. He is a dangerous demagogue and a liar and it’s time conservatives start listening to Donald Trump and understanding that just because he sounds angry, doesn’t mean he’s right.

They will probably end up taking each other down. Thanks for writing something.

I pray that Americans wake up to the fact Trump traded parties in 2012, he is close to Clinton, reminds me of the race in 1992, when the race involved another billionaire to destroy the republican running. Clinton would be involved in both,, and to think a progressive like Trump is backed by his words, is amazing, People in America have gone nuts, they are blind and they better wake up before putting a another Obama type back in the White House, Trump is nothing more than a progressive democrat running as a mirror to Ted Cruz, who America would already have chosen had Clinton and Trump not gotten together to fix this and continuing the progressive agenda, listen to Trump,, he will tax the rich, right? We already see how that has made all of them richer and destroying the middle class,

    • Lucas Leach

what are you talking about taxing the rich is exactly what needs to happen. I’ll tell you what that did it broke the great depression. It is why there is a middle class the lack of taxes on the rich is what is destroying the middle class and has been for like 40 years. FDR came up with that you know the guy on Mount Rushmore.

      • FDR kept the great depression going for years with his taxes.

        • Lucas Leach

I always hear this from people who don’t get it. During Roosevelt’s first “100 days” in office business had revived but employment had not and the policymakers were facing a “jobless recovery”. So they opted to put the unemployed to work on public projects such a LaGuardia airport, West Side Highway, FDR drive and opening and manning local clinics which lowered the infant mortality rate for those areas to name a few. They used the unemployed masses around 4 million people on building and maintaining Americas infrastructure. Something the Government once again sees as a frivolous expenditure. Linking people to their governing body allowed them to see more than just a hand ready to slap you for being American and made them a valuable resource. Not since the Great Society declared war on poverty and provided health
insurance to all over the age of 65 has the United States government
attempted to solve a domestic social problem on the scale of the mass
unemployment of the 1930s. Although the polling-place apathy of the
1990s has been reversed somewhat in recent years, Americans’ faith in
public institutions has rarely been lower. The New Deal demonstrates that there is nothing “natural” about our own
political moment; not that long ago, things were very different indeed.
Our contemporary political tempers do not reflect some innate
national distrust of government, nor is public incapacity solely a
product of inherent limitations on the efficacy of government action
(though these exist, to be sure). Rather, they are a product of
historically specific efforts to undo what the New Deal produced.

“I always hear this from people who don’t get it” – they get that you are lying.

Your posts are a load of rubbish.

          • Mark Cather

            Doesn’t even know history. SMDH.

          • Lucas Leach

This came out of a textbook. You are afraid that understanding historical fact will make you less trump. That kind of paranoia is a nazi level obsession and you can’t be saved.

          • Mark Cather

Talks history while making up facts about people he doesn’t like.

          • Lucas Leach

This is why I hate you trump people you are literally the dumbest and most paranoid in the world. I tried to explain why it isn’t the same not change your vote your far to deep it the truazi party to ever be helped. What is messed is you got utterly terrified and threw your self at insults and refusing what I can’t better explain. All because your mortally afraid of learning like I just can’t believe people this low on the totem haven’t choked on their own tongues. I know your gonna be all boo hoo hoo lets be all angry that is the trump way. Just don’t forget to pull juniors fist out his nose. Anyway do what you want not like you will ever find out which end goes in the ignition anyway. Lol just Jesus Christ it is hilarious how screwed up you people are I have no adequate words for how stupid this shit is it is celestial in how extreme it is. Fuck this I got better things to do than argue with people who can’t recall which sister is his wife.

          • Mark Cather

That’s the Bernie way. Hate those who have a different opinion and a better grasp on history than you. I love these keyboard tough guys.

          • Lucas Leach

It is kind of fucked that you project the exact behavior of trump supporters onto the other candidates. The other fucked up thing is that you assume I am for Bernie because I want you lot to stop sounding like the result of inbreeding. I want to rip out my hair listening to you. Your a bastard and I hope someone gets you the help you all need. You are trying to redefine a word through mass ignorance. It is hands down the weirdest and most ego infected act of insanity in history. Learning the difference doesn’t make you less trump it just makes you less infuriating.

          • Mark Cather

Just going based on your commentary. You keep talking history, I don’t think it’s your best subject.

          • Mark Cather

What happened? BERNIE get your keyboard?

      • IronMaidenaregods

        Taxing the rich is Marxist.

Teddy Roosevelt is on Mount Rushmore.

Franklin Roosevelt strangled the economy with his taxes which he used to buy food and then burn.

        • Lucas Leach

Ya I know it’s teddy now I was wrong point was he was liked and he used the taxes to hire the unemployed on infrastructure. That’d why your 80’s land looked so pretty.

So is social security you willing to give that up?

  • Russ F

I find it interesting that the more Trump talks more about changing the “political status quo”, the more he’s attacked. I’m not saying that I support him, but I will say that if YOU are not sick to death of politicians saying one thing but doing another..YOU, Steven Brodie Tucker are part of the problem.

    • I am indeed sick of our current government, but when I decided who to support Trump wasn’t even a consideration. He’s bad on guns, abortion, taxes, eminent domain, is a financier of the Establishment of both parties. No, I looked at Rand Paul, Ben Carson, and Ted Cruz.

      • Lucas Leach

You missed the man we need Bernie Sanders is needed to fix our economy.

        • IronMaidenaregods

You are lying. Sanders will destroy the economy just as other Marxist economies have been destroyed.

          • Lucas Leach

Why is the only issue any one has ever had with Bernie is that they don’t understand the definition of the words they are using or they just flat out use the wrong ones. Democratic Socialism and Marxist Socialism are different look it up. fight it to the death if you want but at least play like you know what you are talking about. This is grade school education folks I shouldn’t have to explain it to adults

  • Lucas Leach

But he can be bought you all just refuse to see it. He owes money to a man most consider to be a bloody monstrosity. If he doesn’t play by Sachs rules his wife gets black balled and he goes bankrupt. Ted Cruz is a politician so someone is pulling his strings he’s just truthful about who it is.

    • So are you going to back a corrupt billionaire instead?

      • Lucas Leach

i think you misunderstand i want Bernie Sanders

        • Gal from the South

That’s sad. What you said about taxing the rich is so ill-informed. You could take 100% of the money of the richest people in America and it wouldn’t make a dent in our national debt. Ben Carson pointed out – please listen – If we paid back TEN MILLION dollars every single day (without interest accumulating) do you know how many years it would take to pay back our $18 Trillion national debt? Any guesses? Want to get your calculator? Not enough zeroes to use your calculator? 5,000 years. That’s right. Five Thousand years. Who else is smart enough to even talk about things like and speak the truth? Only Ben Carson is really diagnosing America’s problems and offering real solutions. Bernie knows taxing the rich won’t fix our problems, but he knows that the ones in power can have fun spending someone else’s money now – future generations be damned.

          • Lucas Leach

It isn’t about the national debt it is about funding social programs like medicaid to relieve the government stress and tax payers stress that these programs will cause as they are unfunded. It’ll lower the taxes that are removed from your weekly or bi-weekly paycheck which won’t mean much of anything like maybe 5 dollars a person being generous. The real benefit is using that freed up money to invest in infrastructure giving about 4 million jobs at least that are given to the unemployed or under-employed per the plan. Your roads get fixed your parks get cleaned your kids can go back outside and see the world in living color. Not once has hiring employees ever held the economy back. You think too small and you are convinced it will affect your wallet you are wrong. goods and services prices will drop as more people are able to buy more a whole fucking lot of people further boosting the economy as those who can afford it can now afford more. Think with a wide view examine the pyramid not the period. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose unless you have 90 trillion dollars stashed away you’ll still have 88 trillion in 8 years when it all gets dismantled again. But, it is a temporary loss the middle class is back for another 40 years ripe to be exploited again. It’ll be more than 90 trillion you earned seeing as how greatly the buying power of the average American has gone up which will also be temporary. “The new deal” was the best thing that ever happened to us and it has been completely undone. Time to fix that

        • IronMaidenaregods

          Of course you do.

As a Marxist, you must vote for the most consistently Marxist.

          • Lucas Leach

Marxist Socialism and Democratic Socialism are different. find a definition since it is grade school education material you shouldn’t have much problem

          • Mark Cather

Internet tough man making insults from the safety of his mommy’s keyboard.

          • Lucas Leach

It is a cellphone baby boo you mental patients know it as a government peeper.

          • Mark Cather

Oh sorry. You’re being tough from your obama phone.

          • Lucas Leach

Your a trump supporter and that makes you disabled. If I wanted to act tough on the phone I would and you can’t do a thing about it because once I move you to spam you effectively die.

          • Mark Cather

            *you’re.

  • SheRok

I find it interesting that some believe this is the first time opponents for the nomination try to undo each other. LOL When the dust settles, and the nomination is still standing, I will vote for the republican no matter what to keep the Dems out of the White House.

    • Me too.

    • Gal from the South

Me, too, but it’s scary. There’s absolutely zero proof by looking at Trump’s life that he’s conservative. I do think he wants the economy to improve because that would make him richer.

  • Seattle Lion

He has serious mental issues he needs to deal with. He will be the
one that starts the end of times with World War III totally breaking out
all over the world and America getting nuked. I can see that coming
    with him in control.

  • Gal from the South

We need Cruz to stay in the Senate. He says he will “stand up to Washington,” but Dr. Ben Carson as president will LEAD Washington to STAND UP FOR US! Cruz is forgetting that “Washington” is supposed to “be” The People. So in essence, if the government were actually running according to our constitution, Cruz would be saying that he will “stand up to us.” That’s not what we need and Dr. Carson understands that. He said on day 1 of a Carson presidency he would call a joint-session of Congress and explain that they work for us, not the other way around!

  • Lucas Leach

I have decided what to call you from now on you are the learning disability party.
